Just wanted to throw a couple recent pictures of my aquarium and its current inhabitants. Thanks for looking and leave a comment or question if you like. I am quick with responses.

Here is a quick video, also taken on the 12th, that shows my custom sump/refugium and all the equipment inside. In the video, you can see an Aquacontroller JR with DC8, temp and pH probe, AquaC Remora Protein Skimmer, and a Two Little Fishes Phosban Reactor. In the refugium, you will see remnants of some...
Here is a quick video of what my tank has become. Its been 4 months since the last video update. Excuse the cloudiness as I just threw a bunch of food into the aquarium before I decided to take the...

Hello and welcome. I know it has been a while since the last update, but I have been very busy. As you may know, if you have been following along with my updates, my fish tank was over-run by green hair algae. This was due to not being diligent with my water changes, probably overfeeding, and the death of a...
So, I had been searching for a couple months now on a used refugium for my fish tanks and I finally came across a decent deal. I found a used CPR HOB (Hang on back) medium sized refugium (about 4.5 gallons) on ebay for $50 so I jumped on it.
It came with the pump and tubing and all I needed to get was a...
Hello all, and welcome new-comers. I know it has been quite some time since I last posted some photos of the fish tank, but I am a busy guy (full time work and school) and I just finished finals for the spring semester!
Also, I have been avoiding posting pictures of the tank recently because it looks really...

When I woke up this morning, my Hawkfish was no where to be found. I immediately assumed the worst as I had not see him eat since I bought him about 4 days ago. I scanned the tank, the floor around the tank, and my sump and didnt see him anywhere. Then, I decided to check the back of the tank to see if maybe...
Hey guys, to those who have been following, I decided not to wait for the weekly update of the entire tank and took a couple pictures of my Long Nose Hawkfish. I know the picture quality isn’t the best, but bare with me, I am going to be getting a Nikon D40 soon ...
So its been a few days now and the fish is still alive and kicking. He has not eaten much in the way of pellets, but I have seen him pecking at the rocks in the tank. I know this species of fish eats worms so that must be what is sustaining him at the moment. I plan on making a quick stop at the live fish...
Today I took my brother and my sister with me to the fish store to have a look around and maybe purchase a coral frag or 2. The first store we went to did not have as much as I had hoped, so I decided to take them across town to another, much larger store.
When we arrived, I immediately noticed a fish that I...
At this point, I was Pretty far along with the tank and didnt take too many pictures
My cycle had completed just about 3 weeks after the initial set-up and the first things I threw in were 3 peppermint shrimp and a Yellow watchman goby that my friend had. The reason he gave me the fish was because he was...

These pictures are a few days after I set up the tank and actually created an aquascape I was ok with. Instead of going with a real high rock layout, I opted to create a few caves instead. The reason for this was I really like crustaceans and wanted to get a lobster and they mostly live in dark places....
