Ecoxotic LED Lighting System on 90 gal Reef Tank new tank design. I’m watching my buddies coral while he builds his new tank it’s all at the bottom. He has a Bubble Gum Monster and a cool blue clam.

This is the first in a series of videos of my new reef aquarium. The tank made by Deltec in Germany is 220cm wide x 150cm front to back and 75cm water depth and was shipped in one piece. This video was taken after 2 months with work still in progress and most of the livestock was moved from my old system. Total system volume is 2500lts or 550 gallons (660USG). There are more photographs of the system on our website which is shown at the beginning of the video.

I like to run more blue currently I have 120 blue LED and 96 white love the color think it’s between 12k and 14k. That’s 216 watts on a 90 gallon tank about 2.4 watts per gallon coral is doing fine. New video coming soon.
What is the ratio of Panorama Modules in your fixture? I am thinking about putting 2x 50/50 and a stunner 453nm in my Biocube 14G. What do you think?
My pumps do produce a lot of heat I keep my tank at 79 degree and I live in Florida it can get really hot. My old MH light the chiller ran all day now it doesn’t run but it’s still on. Compared to MH lights the LED do not put off any heat little power and a lot of light. I have had them on my tank for four months now and im very happy the Coral are used to the new type of light. I modified the light add 6 all blue modules that would equal 72 watts crazy colors. New Video Soon
why do you need a chiller if your using LED??? where is your heat coming in? Pumps? But even if pumps that cant be something that can worry u can it?
Hey Im interested in buying the ecoxotic but I heard a lot of bad things about how led lights are about coral growth and loosing their strenth too fast. How is working out for you? and how much time have u had the led set up?

ur tank looks gggggrrreeeaaaatttttt!!!!!!!!! i just love the rockscape. u have a lot of flow in that tank i would like to see u equipment and filtration. that is if u ar willing to show it off.
